Temperature-compensated optical cavities for laser frequency stabilization

Abstract We propose a method for thermal expansion compensation of reference monolithic optical cavities laser frequency stabilization. Two schemes are considered: Fabry–Perot interferometer with crimp ring and whispering-gallery-mode cavity clamp. In each scheme, is achieved due to the strained connection an element made material high coefficient expansion. The temperature range cavities’ length stabilization estimated.
